Can't Take It With You Final

Here is the final version of my poster of the play, "You Can't Take It with You". Done for a class project.

Again, this was done on Bristol paper, with mechanical pencil, and then colored and worked on in Photoshop 7. This is a poster for the comedy play, "You Can't take It With You", by George S. Kuafman. The Scene here is of the Sycamore family's "living room", where all the action of the play takes place.

In the left corner is "Mother's Corner", where Mrs. Sycamore types one of her eleven plays. The thing in the paper box is supposed to be a cat. The skull is a plaster of paris ash tray Mrs. Sycamore uses as a candy dish. The door way on the left leads to the front door and the other goes to the basement, where Mr. Sycamore and his friend, Mr. DePinna, make and test fireworks. The kitchen table is there on the right. (the arm chair belongs to the grandfather, Mr. Vanderhauv) Finally, on the bottom right, is the xylophone of Alice Sycamore's brother in law.

Overall, I'm proud of this piece of work. It's gotten nothing but praise from my friends, family, and of course my class partners. Hopefully, this will mark the start of many more great peices here on out.
